Brittany Sted, B.S.

Brittany Sted
Brittany is a senior at UCF working on obtaining her major in Psychology and minor in Sociology. She has been with the lab since Spring 2009 and intends to continue her research until her anticipated graduation in Summer 2010. In addition to her work at the SURG lab, Brittany is also an undergraduate intern at a private practice for mental health counseling. Brittany plans to earn her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and hopes to work in the field of addictions and substance use.

Sara Clingerman

Sara Clingerman
Sara is a senior Psychology major planning on graduating from UCF in Spring 2010. She has been working in the SURG lab since Spring 2009, and has been providing alcohol expectancy presentations to a high school and college students. In addition to her work at the lab, she also works at the Center for Drug Free Living in Orange Outpatient Center working as a research assistant on CTN-0044. Her future plans are to go to graduate school and get a Masters degree in School Psychology.

Stephanie Denney, B.S.

Stephanie Denny
Stephanie graduated from UCF in the Summer of 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Minor in Sociology, and a Certificate in Behavioral Forensics. Stephanie plans to do post-graduate research and field work in clinical psychology while focusing on the concentrations of forensic psychology and substance use. She aspires to go to graduate school Fall 2011 to earn a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. In addition to working in the SURG Lab, Stephanie also interns in the UCF Psychology Clinic and volunteers with New Hope for Kids, a non-profit organization that helps children and families cope with significant grief and loss related to a death.

Lydia Quinn

Lydia Quinn
Lydia is a senior at UCF graduating in December 2010. She will be graduating in the top 2.5% of her class with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. She is a member of the UCF Honors College and a handful of prestigious honors societies. Some of her academic interests are psychopharmacology, sexology, and health psychology. She plans to remain a research assistant with the SURG lab until attending graduate school.

Eric Morgan

Eric Morgan
Eric is a senior at UCF, planning to graduate in spring of 2011 with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a minor in Health Sciences. Eric has been working in the SURG lab since summer of 2010. In addition to SURG lab, Eric has interned at the Center for Drug Free Living’s Addictions Receiving Facility and a private practice specializing in children, family, and substance abuse counseling. After graduation, Eric plans to get his Masters Degree in Social Work and specializing in substance abuse counseling.

Mike Christian

Mike Christian
After completing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Mike plans to do post-graduate work in either neuroscience or medicine. His primary interests are neurology, drug addiction, and health sciences. In addition to working with the SURG Lab, he is currently researching the effects of Ecstasy (MDMA) use for an undergraduate thesis. His long-term professional ambitions include working as professor and researcher.
